DESIGNS FOR LIFE:
Public Events Celebrating a Project in Art and Science.

The Exhibition ‘Designs for Life’ will preview on Friday 8th February 2008 at the VRC and open to the public from the 9th to the 30th February.
The Exhibition will include some of the completed artworks (Screenprints) produced during the collaborations, but also and more importantly examples of the related source material from the laboratories and some of the sketches and materials involved in the process of collaboration. Included in the material will be elements of reflective commentary and further experiments based on the outcomes..
Also included will be work produced as part of the related Dundee City Council Education Programme including work from School Children to Senior Citizens and specially commissioned performance pieces.

The print collaborations will still be in progress and visitors are invited to engage with the process and ask questions of the artists and scientists present.
